We were a table of 6. The wine was the best part of our meal. We ordered sourdough bread. We could not tell if they toasted it... first or whether it was just very dry and tasteless. Our entrees were average at best, the market fish was very bland- noflavor. Had an amazing dinner here last night! Seriously was the best meal we have had in a long time! We were lucky enough to do a 4... course tasting menu and all 4 courses were delicious and presented so well. And they were all paired perfectly with great winechoices! This restaurant is great! I told my elderly grandma here and she loves it. They were very patient with all of our questions and... requests. The wait staff was so friendly and read the oyster selection several times for my grandma. We had the risotto, apizza, salad, sausages and oysters; all of which were fantastic. Fabulous food and attentive service = perfect evening. We each enjoyed wine with our meals. All meals were full of flavor and... perfectly prepared and presented. Started with scallops, foccacia and beet salads. Steak frites, Manger burger (brisket andchuck ground together), market choice fish (Superior white fish), taratielle with wild mushrooms (great lemony finish). Thechocolate gold leaf tart magically disappeared before a photo op. French press coffee for a finish. Reservations recommended. While all servers are fabulous, Kelly was superb with descriptions of dishes, flavor profiles. Not sure which wine to have,just ask Kelly to choose-- she won't steer you wrong. Read more
Great place for date night in the sweetheart town of Bayport. Ambience is cozy and relaxed. In the Spring/Summer, outdoor... seating in the garden is going to be impeccable. Food is 5/5. There?s a big variety (seafood, pasta, burgers, pizza), but theexecution is on point (homemade pasta) and the menu is limited. Always ask about their specials. Service is 5/5. Always a treat to eat at Manger. Love the atmosphere and the food is amazing. I brought my parents out and we had two of the... fish dishes. Good portion sizes and cooked to perfection. Flavor and texture couldn't get any better. The wine was amazing aswell. We will be back! Read more
