We've been coming to Otaiko for years and always had a good experience. It might be difficult to get a hibachi table depending... on when you come, but you can always order hibachi at the regular tables / booths as well. We recently brought a friend whonever had the hibachi experience. She had a shrimp allergy and they accommodated it wonderfully. They explained the process tous and followed it accordingly. Felt very safe throughout the whole experience. Portion-wise, they are smaller now than theyused to be a few months ago. I'm sure it's s result of inflation, but there's still enough food to be full and bring home. Read more

Otaiko is a staple in Bayonne and has been a part of the community for years. The price per value is actually really good if... your doing hibachi. The hibachi chefs are great at keeping the entertainment high. The hibachi has always been pretty good. Becareful if you get steak or lobster you might feel a bit robbed , however everything else seems well portioned. Can't complain,it's not perfect but it's also a bit better than average! Read more

We enjoy eating here! The sushi rolls and combinations are very flavorful! Staff are friendly and fast to my experience too.
I only had sashimi and sushi. It was decent. The sashimi was fresh. Don't need to dip soy sauce if is fresh raw fish! The sushi... was ok, nothing too special about it. I was planning to do hibachi but the waitstaff said it can't be serve alone, only orderfrom menu. The waitstaff was friendly and professional. Read more
