I ordered thru Grubhub this morning. I had the Nova Lox sandwich. The bagel was so small just short of a mini bagel, it was dry... with very little cream cheese and huge red onions. This sandwich cost $9 I think it should be on a regular size bagel and nothave cream cheese applied as if it was a butter on a bagel. Not happy AT ALL just horrible. Read more
In the morning it's very slow cuz only one person is working but then towards 9:00 a.m. they get help and it flows very nicely
Manhattan Bagel is my go-to place for bagels and breakfast sandwiches, and the lattes too ?????? I live 1 block away so I often... stop by to get a bite and relax. It?s a very nice, laidback atmosphere with polite staff. I?ve been a customer here for a fewyears now. No where else compares! Read more
Not really happy with this place...no one in there...I ordered a nice sandwich that was pictured on a sign outside...what I got... was nothing like the photo...and when I asked the distracted employee do you really think a slice and a half of cold cuts on allgiant bagel can be considered a sandwich....he stared at me like I was annoying him. So...I try not to annoy himanymore...haven't been back since. Always seems empty..maybe I'm not alone Which is the only reason I feel comfortable evensharing this...plus I felt like I paid around $8.00 for what was basically a mustard sandwich...not right...hopefully hearingthis may change things. Whoa! Great place! The food reminded me of the taste of the old bodegas in BK, when I used to eat breakfast on the subway. Great... pleasant surprise in Bayonne and will return during my long walks from 54th street. Read more
I was definitely drawn to the name of the place. Especially because I just moved to jersey from New York and was feeling super... nostalgic. The place definitely delivers and in a very quick and accurate fashion. The owner is super friendly and very down toearth which I can always appreciate. It's nice to have a bagel spot I can count on again even when I'm far from Manhattan. Read more
Go somewhere else, anywhere else. This morning I ordered a plain bagel with butter, a toasted blueberry bagel with cream... cheese, a chocolate chip muffin and chai tea latte... all were bad. The plain bagel had a TON of butter, the blueberry bagel wasnot toasted and when I bite into it, I felt something plastic (a plastic film was in the cream cheese), the muffin was as hardas a rock and the chai tea latte was given to me without a sleeve and when I tasted it, it had zero flavor. Everything had toget thrown out. It was a waste of time and money. Read more
