Food is great, of course, if you are ordering the traditional hard to come by stuff. But how are you going to charge 2$ for a... Walmart brand great value water with no other option for water, AND the to go containers. The price of the food is worth it considering how hard it is to come across ecuadorian food in the US. But jeez, theyre trying to charge you for breathing inthere. 80+ for two soups, water, an order of plantains and a soda...7$ for not even a whole plantain???? Read more

Top 5 in the tri-state area. Drove in from Queens NY, you would think I would find a good enough Ecuadorian restaurant at most a... bus ride away. But nope. To the point where my family avoids Ecuadorian restaurants nearby. Finding this place made the bridgesand tunnels, along with the tolls worth the trip. Service was good. Sure it could have been better but it was welcoming. Foodwas like if someone took their grandma's recipe and applied chef techniques. But not in the too fancy for its own good. In theway you can bring your grandma and she'll be impressed and still enjoy the food. The menu is interesting. I spent some time inGuayaquil, and looking at their offerings was kinda the all stars of things you'll find on street carts, family gatherings, andclassics. Honestly if it wasn't for the distance I would go regularly instead of just showing off for visiting family members. Read more
