We went with a reservation for a group of 5 and the owner graciously accommodated us. I ordered the shrimp and grits which was... spicy and delicious. I also ordered an old fashioned which was also very good. We ordered dessert which took a long time to comeout, but the owner did explain that they were short staff and comped the dessert because we waited so long. That was really greatly appreciated and I would definitely go back to explore the menu. Read more

Went tonight for our first time. First off- I had the best blackberry margarita with fresh fruit. So delicious. Friend had a... white cosmo which was also very good. Shrimp tacos were the best I have ever had. Will absolutely be back for more blackberrymargaritas and especially Bang Bang Shrimp tacos! I came to corks and taps on Friday night to see the legendary one man band, Bobcat perform. My friends and I were amazed by the... show and how great it was to see him in our backyard at an upscale restaurant like this. I'm so happy to see they got live musicthere. I found this restaurant by googling restaurants in Bay Shore. My friends and I wanted some dinner and drinks and decided to give... this place a shot. I think this is one of the first restaurants that I went to where everyone was happy with their orders eventhe appetizers! Do try the Barruta and the spinach dip, they were out of this world. My friends also really liked the tendersand tacos photographed. Also try the beer from the local brewery in Lindenhurst. The owner recommended it and my friend andboyfriend loved it. My only minor critique was that the service was a little slow but that gave us plenty of time to socialize.Also I love friendly owners! The owner moved us to a warmer location when he noticed my girlfriends and I were a little cold.Definitely recommend this place for high quality food! Read more
Corks is a nice gathering place. The interior space is very inviting. Two midsize TV's behind the bar. They appear to have a... nice beer selection with ales and lagers, etc. The food menu has a good amount of choices. The general concensus of our diningparty of 4 was that the food was good. The restaurant is moderately priced. The drinks were tasty and presented well. Dining fora party of 4 with 3 alcoholic beverages was $137.00. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Read more
