Great nostalgic, Comfortable, Clean and pleasant place to stay. Maureen and the entire staff are very friendly, Polite,... courteous and attentive. Had my wedding on 10/9/22 and it was absolutely flawless, Gerry and the whole serving staff did anExcellent job, Everyone who attended had an absolute wonderful time. The Room was quaint, Comfortable and very clean. So if youlive in Jersey or just visiting from out of town Stop by Bay Head N.J and Stay at the Grenville. We had our wedding here 3 years ago and could not be more pleased. The charm of the Grenville and the staff could not be more... accommodating. We returned there for our Anniversary recently and the same can be said! They food was great, the staff waswarm and welcoming and the place has not lost it's charm. I recently had my daughters baby shower at the Grenville Hotel . The event turned out beautiful. Maureen and Patty were the... nicest and easiest people to plan a party with . The entire staff was more than accommodating and professional . They made mydaughters baby shower a completely stressless event. We had the brunch buffet and the food was delicious ! This was my second stay at this beautiful and charming vintage hotel and I look forward to our next! Harry and his lively wife... are so welcoming and his staff are always helpful and smiling. I’m a an Executive Chef / Dir. of Food and Beverage and findthis gem of a property to be the best find on the shore. The rooms are clean, comfortable and elegant as is the dining room andthe front porch is a great way to start your morning with fresh coffee or end your evening with a glass of wine. The beach isright around the corner and Harry has chairs, towels and bikes so you can explore this lovely, quiet area of the shore. Allsaid - a great relaxing time and can’t wait to come back. Just completed our stay at this #gildedage beauty on the Jersey shore. One would normally need to head all the way down to Cape... May for such an experience. Here, even New Yorkers can easily get there via NJ Transit. Very relaxing. Welcoming staff. Goodvalue. We’ll be back. Read more

Perfect location right in bay head two blocks from the beach . They provide the beach tags during your stay. As well as beach... umbrellas, towels, and chairs with straps that you can easily transport to the beach. They have a nice porch to sit out on and/or dine at their restaurant as well as a nice indoor space. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you want a party locationnear the boardwalk then this would not be the spot for you(thin walls at night make convos carry easily ). You also have to parkon the street but it was fairly easy to find a spot less then five minutes during peak times and multiple spots open during nonpeak times . Their continental included breakfast was underwhelming but honestly for the price and quality of everything thereis really nothing to be mad about . The rooms could use slight updating and were slightly small (flat pillows) but again minorflaws for the overall experience. Highly recommend!! Read more

We are here at the beautiful B&B and loving it. We are able to bring our dogs which is the part! The rooms are immaculate. The... service is unbelievable! Thank you to the owners for doing your absolute best to make our weekend wonderful. They supply beachchairs, umbrellas, towels and just about everything you need for an amazing beach weekend.
