First time in years of going there that we've had bad service. Started with the waiter ignoring us until a manager asked her if... we had been waited on. She came over, didn't ask if we wanted an appetizer, and immediately wanted us to order. We finallyordered our appetizer and she was rushing us to order our meal. By the time we ordered our meal she had disappeared and onlyreturned once to fill my husbands drink, after that another waiter took over our service. Finally had to ask the manager if ourfood was ready, which it was because the other waiter brought it out immediately. I was served the wrong cut of meat but we hadwaited so long for our food that I just ate it because the food was already cold and we were just ready to eat. Had dinner on Saturday night, and the place was hopping! There was a big birthday party adjacent to us, but our very... professional waitress did not let that interfere with giving us great service. The food was ok, but nothing all that special. I had bacon-wrapped sirloin tips, and they were not all that great because the bacon was too thick and rubbery, and the sirloinhad a lot of fat and gristle in it. The baked potato was not very warm, and the soup tasted like it was straight out of agallon food service can. The fired shrimp was ok, but the breading was greasy, and the grease tasted like it should have beenchanged a week ago. It was not horrible, it just wasn?t great. The fried zucchini was frozen food-service grade, and VERYsalty. On the whole, we were not impressed, and likely will not be back?there are better places to spend our food dollars. Thebill came to $30 per person (and that was no alcohol), so the value just isn?t there. We saw several waiters bringing outbaskets of rolls, but we were never offered any. With the reviews we saw, we really expected Salt Grass quality food. But we were not impressed with this place at all. Service... wasn't good. It took almost an hour and a half to get our food. Got there a little after 7 and didn't leave till almost closingtime. Our food wasn't even cooked correctly. I got steak and shrimp and didn't even bother to eat anything other than the bakedpotato. This place was recommended by a friend's friend and we'll it lacked in the food department. My French dip was dry meat on a... soggy bun that came with no au juice. The salad was limp and brownish. Overall not their best day for food. Even with all ofthis the waitress was very nice and attentive. Read more

Great steaks, ordered the Certified Angus Ribeye, with the thicker cut option, twice. It was delicious both times. Service... wasn't insanely good, but I'd sit there for the steak regardless.
