Let me start by saying that the staff are friendly and the food is great. However, the portion sizes are tiny and my husband and... I left hungry. Here's my experience: My husband and I dined here to celebrate our 12-year anniversary, they gave us each a freelemon cello to celebrate. The restaurant is beautiful and has a lovely outdoor dining area. I ordered a glass of wine and wassurprised by the amount. Honestly, I thought they were bringing me a sample before pouring me a whole glass. I maybe got 3 oz.For $10 I expect more wine than that. I should have ordered the whole bottle. I ordered the lobster lasagna for $20 and was alsosurprised when there were only 3 ravioli on my plate. I cut into it and found a thick hair inside one of them. I sent it backand they brought me a new one. It was delicious! I have no complaints about the flavor, only the quantity. My second order hadmore than 3, however. My husband ordered the Caesar Salad and it was also small. For the price I expect a large salad. We eachordered a drink and our grand total was $65 before the tip. We were also charged extra for the seltzer water when it was offeredwhen we sat down as an option. The question the waitress asked was "Would you like sparkling or flat water?". It was impliedthat it was free. I was still hungry when we left. I don't know if it's food-related or not, but it's worth saying that I threwup later that night. I wish I could rate 0 stars. We showed up around 8:20 on a Friday thinking they would be open until 10, as advertised online.... Asked if we were still good to order food, and were told yes, no problem. We ordered drinks and appetizers but it was more than30 minutes until anyone came back by to take our order, and one of our drinks still had not arrived. After nearly an hour, thelast drink arrived, and when we tried to order another round, were told the bar was closed at 9:20. The staff did not mentionthat they would be closing early due to an event, or that they were closing down the bar, no last call, nothing. Our mealsarrived, again, minus one, and after about 20 more minutes, finally our chicken alfredo arrived - with hard, uncooked pasta. Weconsistently had to ask for waters, for our plates to be cleared, the staff was annoyed with our every request and began closingaround us without checking in once. Nobody seemed to care, which I can’t blame them for as they all seemed to be 16 oryounger. For a $150 meal and a 2 hour experience, absolutely would not return again. Read more

Wanted to give 5 stars but the outside of the restaurant does not measure up. So very glad we stopped by but honestly almost... missed it! This place is a diamond in the extreme rough! Don't let the exterior persuade you negatively to not try this placeout. The food was very good. The service was outstanding! We spoke with the owner to get the story behind the buildings. A trueAmerican heritage place. The ambiance inside is very old world Italy. They have a lot of work to do to make the outside asappealing as the inside but that will not dissuade us from going back!
