The food is absolutely delicious, my husband gets the Walleye Diablo every time and is never disappointed. The prices are... reasonable and they have wide range of cocktails and beer available. We've never had a bad meal at the Gator Lounge! If you'restaying in the hotel, the adjacent bar has a nice hole in the wall atmosphere, pool tables a full bar. Read more

the bartender was very snooty. She disliked us for her own no doubt irrational and incomprehensible reasons, and so the service... deteriorated as the meal progressed. By the end of it, she could hardly bring herself to serve us. Not to mention, she gotreally offended that I asked for an itemised bill, even though we ended up paying $90. A customer has every right to examinewhat he pays for, not to mention to have whatever kind of conversation he wishes to, whether or not the bartender likes it orcan even comprehend it. So, no thank you, I will not throw away almost a hundred bucks to get attitude from the bartender!! Andconsider the fact that this review concerns a visit which took place over 12 months ago. Yes, that's how long the unpleasantexperience will stick in your mind. The owner has asked how these problems can be fixed after all this time. The answer is,issue a refund for the entire amount, plus tip. I contacted him regarding this possibility. Since he has not attempted tocommunicate with me, one can assume that he is merely whinging that the problem "is impossible to fix", and that he is notinterested in actually "fixing" it. In other words, he wants to place the blame on the customer, not the bartender or the waythe business is run. What exactly is the point of complaining that something is impossible to fix, when it is neither true, noris he interested in fixing it in the first place?
