Reviews for Uno Dos Tacos in Baton Rouge, LA
Place is not bad has the feeling of a cookie cutter type restaurant though mediocre menu and food. Service was great that even... though they were short-handed the guy was very friendly. Like I said before the food was good but nothing to write home aboutpo' boys definitely were very good size for the price Read more
Trying something new, give them a try. Very attentive and polite crew.
This place was amazing! I took my daughter here for our mother daughter outing and the food was so amazing, so fresh and so... tasty with just the right amount of spice. I ordered the street taco with chips and salsa and it was so amazing, their salsahas this smoky like taste to it and it's not too spicy or too mild it's just right! The green sauce that comes with the taco wasreally good too. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to eat tacos. We were both able to eat forunder 20 dollars and the staff was extra friendly and very professional and informative. All around a great experience! Read more
Food is a little on the pricier side for food that?s comparable to Taco Cabana or Fuzzy?s. They have beer and margaritas on the... menu, but when requested a beverage the person working there said they do not serve alcohol. There was beer in the cooler andthe margarita machine was on. Not sure if they lost their liquor license, but I?ve had both at a previous visit. This is not theplace to go if you?re looking for draft beer, etc. Just a spot for TexMex like food. We came to try it out again, because youknow maybe it?s not all great during one visit but could be the next. Ordered snack foods but they didn?t come out first. Theyended up coming with the entree. Not even chips and queso was served first. Food kind of had Taco Bell vibes. Nachos were cool, burrito was not that great. Fries were not greasy. If you?ve never tried, give it a go. Staff is friendly. Read more
Super busy on Cinco de Mayo. Service was fast and courteous. Food was super fresh and delicious.
The food was actually good. Fresh veggies. Crispy shell. Real ground meat. It was the middle of the afternoon, so the restaurant... wasn't busy. I received my food in a timely manner. I had a taco salad that didn't have any type of beans in it, but I wish itdid. There was a decent amount of meat but beans would have added another protein and balanced all the lettuce. Nice layout inthe restaurant with multiple TV's. Decor is modern although I'm not sure what the greenery hanging from the ceiling is supposedto be. I think the tables are small especially for 3 grown men. The restaurant also has another "side" to it called Bayou Boyzthat serves wings and po-boys, etc. There is a problem though: the prices are too high. I walked out full and content, but Idon't think it's worth the money (regardless of how fresh the ingredients are). Read more
This place is doing it correctly. The tacos were good sized, for the price. I got 3, but could have gotten 4. I loved the soft... flour tortilla. All tacos were freshly prepared. The steak had a Verde sauce which was just slightly spicy and the steak had awonderful char to it. The fish had an awesome zesty mayo on top. The chicken had the purple cabbage on it. There is anotherrestaurant shared with this one. They have great poboys. Read more
