A great local hidden gem! So while in town for work, a co-worker told me about this place. He suggested the wings, and he was... right. The wings were incredible! They were like eating those potato chips, you couldn't eat just one. I also ordered a side ofbeans and rice, and those did not fail on the flavor side either. Overall, a pretty good place to try. The shrimp fried rice was dry ,No shrimps. It actually looked like butter rice. The shrimps tasted like breaded shrimp. Which... they probably were. But I will NEVER EAT there again. The chicken wings I ordered was dried out. Like they had been under thelight alllll day .????. It's really the only choice for fried chicken. There are quite a few of these stores in Baton rouge, this one off highland just... hits right. Bought 200 dollars worth of food with two hours notice. No problems or backups. Read more

When I crave fried chicken, the Blue Store is my go to place. I always get the large wings plate. The fried chicken wings are... crispy, not too oily and has a nice kick to it. You get 2 sides and I go for the shrimp fried rice. Also comes with 2 chunkypotato logs that is amazing. I am surprised this store has not been featured on TV networks yet. Any time of the day, the linesare long and the wings are flying. If you have not tried them yet, I would highly recommend a visit. Read more

The Togo box for the red beans and rice is Horrible for the overpriced they charge. The container they put the beans should be... used for the rice and the Togo box used for the rice should be for the red beans. The container for the Red Beans is a RIP OFF.MY PERSONAL OPINION.
