Ive gone here on several occasions for lunch *the food is good; it satisfies the stomach, is decent tasting, and is usually... freshly served I usually get the gumbo and i haven't really tried anything other than that , so keep that in mind. *Thegentleman who is usually manning the front, Andrew has always been very courteous on all of my encounters with him at thestore As of recently i was in a huge rush to get some other activities done during my break and left without my debt card. As iwas driving through a neighboring parking lot -clueless to my mistake, i just happened to look in my side mirror to see a manrunning full speed with a receipt and debt card in his hand. Man is an absolute saint, employees like him are what get loyalcustomers! Read more

I went on my lunch break. I waited a few minutes for someone to take my order. She walked up to the register and said she will... be right back, she needed to clean tables. I wanted to leave, if I did i wouldn't have lunch that day. The rice taste like plainrice with a lot of the rice browning sauce called Kitchen Bouquet and very cheap sausage. I had terrible heartburn from eatingit. Its definitely not worth it. I shared my experience with the people I work with & they said that place has awful food aswell. Read more

WORST FOOD EVER. I?ve been craving jambalaya shoppe for the past couple of weeks and haven?t had the time to get any, well today... I stop by and order 2 meals and it took forever which I didn?t have a problem because I assumed it would be fresh. But it tookso long because they were reheating all the food!!! NASTY! I?m not a complainer but the food literally taste like it was daysold and the meat looked awful. The chicken had a old stale taste to it. It was seriously a waste of my $30 bucks and to say howbadly I?ve been craving it. I usually go to O?Neal location and there usually good but Perkins and Essen location suck I waswondering why no one was in line ordering. I wish I would have taken a picture because it literally looked like prison food, completely garbage BEWARE. Read more

I stopped by today to get Sunday dinner for my family and the food didn?t disappoint. Jambalaya was delish as well as the... chicken and sausage gumbo. We also enjoyed the crawfish pie and boudin. The portions are generous and it satisfied a craving.Customer service was the epitome of southern hospitality. The next time we are in BR, we will definitely come back. Read more

This place is the bomb! The service is quick and the people who run the place are some of the sweetest and hard-working group... of people that I've met in a very long time. Mrs. Mary helped me carry my food to my car because I recently got stitched removedfrom my hand and couldn't carry the box. The food is delicious and hot every single time, The chicken and sausage gumbo is richand full of meat, the potato salad is nice and creamy, and the white beans were just the right amount of salty and peppery. Therestaurant is clean and everyone was considerate and wore their masks around me. I'm very satisfied with this restaurant andwill be back many more times. Read more
