Beautiful and clean environment! Food is magnificently delicious! The portions are quite generous even though they are called... small plates. Meanwhile, the large plates are big enough to serve 3 to 4 people. Read more

Love the vibe, delicious drinks (forgot my dang cherries in my old fashioned though ????). Small plates but very delicious and... rich. Too notch service. Maybe a con is just a little bit more variety. Don't expect to get full from the meal, but do expectto excite your palate. Try it out ! Read more

I must say that when we first went to Solera, shortly after they opened, we had a pleasant experience. Our recent visit,... however, was a huge disappointment. The service was good, but the bar area is sparsely decorated opening on to an adjacentdining area with a couple pictures of flamenco dancers. We ordered drinks and tapas…. Calamari, “Tomato Toast” andPiquillo Peppers. The Calamari (fried with citrus aioli)was no more than frozen Calamari and mayonnaise. I asked for redsauce… Safrito, Piquillo, Romesco or anything but mayonnaise. It took a long time, which our server explained that all sauceswere “house-made”, so it takes longer. What I received was ketchup with some “hot sauce or chilies” mixed in. I did notfinish the now cold Calamari. The Piquillo peppers were lukewarm served on stale bread… did not taste the rosemary honey. ThePan con tomate (tomato toast) was cold grated tomatoes on stale bread. “Pan con tomate” should be tomato, garlic and oliveoil broiled over sourdough. Not so sure about their claim of “authentic Spanish tapas”. Something has changed since theiropening. Read more

The mangonada was the highlight of my visit. It had great flavor and was strong. We thought it was happy hour but they stopped... doing happy hour on Saturday. The restaurant is nice and the service was good as well but I was disappointed in the food. Iordered this stuffed peppers on a crostini with a honey drizzle and there just wasn't much flavor. My guest had the gulf fish, which she also said didn't have much flavor. After that, I thought I'd order something else just to try so I ordered thecharcuterie. When I saw it, I was confused and disappointed because it was small, the presentation wasn't good, and I saw nocheese. When the waiter came back I told him I was confused about what I ordered and I sent it back. When we asked for thechecks the manager came and apologized. I told him my concern that there was no cheese and showed him the picture. At first heagreed, and then upon looking closer he said it was under the bread. But he was very nice about it, took it off my check andapologized again. Read more

There are hundreds of fast food places, dozens of Southern/Creole restaurants and a few really good steak restaurants in the... area but Solera dares to be different. First, the food... We had four different Tapas and each got a desert. We weren'tdisappointed with ANY of the above. In fact, if we could have eaten more, we would have. The portion sizes are perfect forsharing while leaving your appetite wanting more. The frozen mango drink was magnificent. The service was perfect, atmospherereally good and the server (Katie) was always available and helpful. We will definitely be going back to try more Tapas. Read more
