Met Mr Ronnie this morning on my job he was buying butane and he said come try us out as soon as I left work I went and grabbed... me two links of the smoked boudin and some cracklings well he has my support. I like my boudin with more meat then just ricedressing and he has that. So give him a try. And I can?t wait to try a plate lunch next. Read more
Best cracklins in the Baton Rouge area unless you want to drive out to Krotz Springs. Employees are great and other then a dry... turkey wing never had a problem with the food. Just be wary that wait times can be long, especially around lunch rush so it'snot a pop in and out place. Must recommend regardless. Read more
I got a smoked link of boudin, a boudin ball, and a fried turkey wing. I was impressed with the wing. Savory throughout and not... dry on the inside at all. Bring a napkin. Hard to take a non phallic photo of the smoked boudin. I'll get some cracklin nexttime. They are always excellent! Read more
The boudin is real good, Cracklins even better. I?ve also had their Thursday plate lunch, BBQ which was delicious.
I've been here a few times and haven't left disappointed or hungry. They have daily lunch specials and po-boys. Thursday is bbq... Friday is fish. Both are really good. The lunches are served with 2 sides and rice dressing (boudin). Prices are reasonable andyou get a good bit for the price. Today I got the pork steak, easily could make 2 meals out of it, for 8.50 plus drink. Idefinitely recommend Ronnies! Read more
