This is the best place to go to when nothing is open. Chicken and fries is a perfect meal for any time of the day. Another plus... that canes has is one of the best sauces out, which is their canes sauce that is rich in flavor. I think this canes is in the best place even though most doesn't agree. I like that this canes is very convenient for me since i... live on campus, it opens later than other Canes, and your chicken fingers will always be the fresh. The only con is that whenthe drive- thru has a line because it will usually extend to the red light. This usually is the spot that most outer statestudents like the most. Read more

This was our first time here! The chicken fingers & chicken sandwich were fresh, hot and delicious! Their fries reminds me at... Zacadoo?s Grille in Georgia. Bathroom was very clean. As a LSU alumnus, I have a lot of great memories eating a box or Caniac with friends here at the original Cane's, especially... after a basketball game where the Tigers successfully completed the "Cane's Challenge." I always try to eat at Cane's every timeI'm back in Baton Rouge, but it had been probably a decade since I've steped foot into the Mothership. My visit this time inthe post-COVID era did not disappoint. For those not familiar with Raising Cane's, it is a fast food restaurant thatspecializes in chicken fingers. Their only menu items are chicken fingers, slaw, Texas toast, french fries, a bun for theirsandwich, and the best sauce you'll ever dip chicken in.
