Modest and charming restaurant with a decent wine selection. Our server, Dylan, was engaging and attentive creating a relaxed... environment immediately. We began with a glass of wine and the Artichoke Romana. The appetizer was unexpectedly savory, myfavorite part of our meal. We split the Prime Cut Board with the filet as our meat. This place has excellent food at reasonable prices! Crab cakes were delicious and had a slight spicy kick. The red fish topped... with crawfish a to fay was very delicious ???? They have a huge variety of adult beverages so stop on by and check them out. Themanager was very friendly and Sam was very nice! Come on by and check them out! Read more
My initial impression was one of trepidation after the hostess seemed less than thrilled that I requested a table for one. ... After that, my experience was off the charts. My server asked if I needed time to look over the menu. There was no rush. Shesuggested an excellent Pinot Noir. The hummus snack was delicious. The filet was cooked just right. The sauce I selected wasnot available so the chef himself came to offer substitutes. I asked him to create something based on the sweet and spicy saucethat was not available. It was excellent. What an excellent Caesar salad. The dressing was on point here. Not your standard fare. The dressing stuck to the lettuce but... was not overly rich. Solid savory notes and not an out of the jar flavor. The grilled hamburger patty was properly salted. Ithad a chargrilled flavor which was very good. The muenster cheese had a very light flavor and as a result the burger had layersof flavor. The waitress asked for a meat temp on the burger so I said medium. It was a little over but that was not a breakerat all for this lunch. Now for the side sauces !! Take note: The roasted red pepper aioli was outstanding!! I mean theyshould bottle this!! Not mayo-ee. The green Anaheim jelly was sweet with a red pepper finish. The garlic ketchup was not asimpressive as the other two. You need to check this place out! I like small bites and this place has a nice selection of boards to choose from. I had the seafood board and I really enjoyed... it. I?m not a tuna tartar person so my friend finished that off. Nice vibe and atmosphere. We also had the dessert board. I willbe back to try the other boards. I hope they add where you can add cheese or sausage selections to any board. The atmosphere was popping and friendly! The staff was very helpful and had great service! The food was top notch and can?t wait... to come back and try more of these board items! Dessert was fantastic and the chocolate lava cake was amazing! The bar has somegreat drinks to try out from their draft beers to their dessert drinks! You have to come try this place out! I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here! So much that I went to one of the wine dinners less than a week later. Hillary remembered... me when I called and made sure to make me feel welcome for the wine dinner even though I was going to be a bit late. The staffis so attentive and friendly, they are organized and don't rush you like most places. Our waitress helped us choose entrees,answered questions and even just made small talk. The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing. Perfect for an after work drinkand unwind. Now let's get to the food... The crab cakes were amazing! There is more stuffing than crab but the flavors with thesauce made it worth it. The prime rib medium was cooked perfectly. I didn't care for how the potatoes were cooked. They werelike crispy on the outside so that made the skin hard to cut through and the inside was soft. All the veggies were good. Itcame with asparagus, the cauliflower, mushrooms, and spinach. I took the spinach home and ate it with chips. I do wish it camewith more carbs but I didn't feel overly full and everything was so fresh. We also had the steak which came with the samesides. For dessert we got the cake that was like Chantilly cake and it was soo good. The fruit was fresh and the cake was moistand flavorful. I will go back again and again and again! Read more
