Stepped out of my realm to order the 8pc nugget with Cajun rice. Worse thing I ever done. Nuggets taste as if they came off... Golden Coral line. I picked up my husband from work and decided to stop here on the way home! We waited about 30 minutes in the drive thru! About 3... other cars left because of the wait! Finally I ordered and requested 2 breast in the 5 piece meal I ordered! Get home and openthe box to only one breast. And the chicken didn't look too good! One of the nice Popeyes place in town Pros: Really close to where I work so that?s wonderful I can get chicken whenever I want.... Pretty friendly ladies at the front and the counter they enjoy their job and help you whenever you can. Oh my, I just ordered the "Spicy Chicken Sandwich" and let me tell you, no other chicken sandwich that I have had is even close.... The bun is just a bit sweet, it is not very noticeable and it is quite soft. The sauce that they added to the sandwich is agreat compliment, it is a bit creamy and quite flavorful. The pickles are ample size, crunchy and equally complimentary. Nowfor the main attraction, the chicken, oh the crunchy, spicy, juicy warm chicken. This is breast meat that is juicy with a verynice crunchy coating of breading on it. The chicken is about 1.5 inches at the thickest point and tapers down to one inch.
