I was absolutely blown away by Poor Boy Lloyd's! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was as friendly as they could... be! The old guy at the register talked LSU football with me and that was icing on the cake! I can't wait to go back! Read more
I've been here before to eat in with my husband and it was great. I guess it's different if you order take out. The chicken and... dumplings were too salty, didn't look appealing and the bread served was stale. The apple crunch is soggy at best. I'm overlydisapointed! Read more
4-9-22 Came here around 3-4ish. The Red Beans and Rice with Sausage is the Best I have ever had...besides the one I make! The... seafood gumbo? Don't order it. It looks like a chicken noodle soup broth, and it just is not that tasty. The chocolate cake?Pass on that, too. It just didn't taste good at all. The chocolate icing tasted like there was a raspberry sauce or extractmixed in it. That taste really threw me off. Friendly folks work here. Dining outdoors was our preference. I will be back!
