For a nice and elegant Italian dinner in a busy part of town, this place is it. Looks like an unimpressive restaurant from the... outside, but it is white linen service. The lighting and music set the perfect mood for a nice dining experience. The bread isunlike any bread anywhere else....and I've had some great bread. We had snapper and veal, both were excellent. Wait staff, well dressed and very attentive. Menu is expensive, but we were not disappointed. This place is as good as Ruffino's, butwithout the crowd. A definite try for anyone looking for great Italian food. Read more

Palermo Ristorante is a cute little restaurant of only about 20 tables or so and is quintessential modern Italian ????????... cuisine. The menu was simple with about 30 selections to choose from including Antipasti and Salad. We chose the nightlyspecial, a bone-in stuffed veal chop with creamy risotto ($52); and a selection from the regular menu? Chicken Parmesan($23). The wine menu ???? was adequate though there were less than 10 selections available by the glass. We partook of theVitticio Chianti and a Corvina Red Blend. Specialty cocktails are also available. Two words? GARLIC. BREAD. ????????Anaccompaniment slathered with herbs and garlic, was hot, toasted and most importantly, delicious! ????Michael, our server, brought us two servings of it and The Babes ate most of it.???? After about 20 minutes, our dinner was presented on hot platesand of impressive size. The Chicken Parmesan was tender though sweeter than how I like it, probably because of the in-housesauce that it is prepared with. So The Babes and I switched, ???? he liked mine better anyways. The veal chop was stuffed withsmoked gouda and pancetta which was a nice way to split the thickness of the chop. The risotto was perfectly cooked, creamy andtasty. We didn?t have time for dessert ????, though we were offered it. Prices at Palermo are higher than normal, but expectedof the atmosphere/ambiance. The food was good, but some items were a bit pricey. We might return for wine and a pizza toshare, but if you?re looking for a hearty Italian feast, it will cost you at Palermo. ???????????? Read more

Stand out Italian in a sea of posers. Must get: the paninis, the fettuccine, THE CHEESECAKE. seriously, get a piece of Carnegie... cheesecake. Treat yo self. The aesthetic is cute but classy. Open dining with a wooden bar tucked away in privacy. Our waiterwas chill and nice. Nothing not to love about this place. Edit: actually the cannolis are the only thing I did not like. Waysthey could be better: crispier crust, add dark chocolate shred to the sauce to make it gritty, get rid of whatever rum or liquorin there it doesn?t taste good Read more

Wonderful place. One of my favorite Italian restaurants in the area now. Interesting menu, excellent wine selection, and the... tiramisu was one of the best I've had. The Veal Osso Bucco was different and wonderful. The only drawback is the place can get abit too noisy. Pictured: Veal Osso Bucco Read more
