The spicy pork BBQ melt sandwich with jalapenos tasted alright, nothing exceptional, and it was quite small. But it was $10.00.... Overpriced for sure. Also, nothing on the side, not even a pickle spear or chips, with the sandwich. Weird vibe in the place,too. A man gruffly told me to go and sit outside and not "at the bar," which in actuality was just a couple of barstools in thesmall front area near the cash register. I was sitting on one of the stools when he barked at me, as if I was an intrusion andnot a customer. As it was very hot outside,--which I told him in reply--I then sat inside in the back in a tiny room with verylow ceiling, but the AC unit was still completely inadequate, and I was sweating profusely the whole time I ate the sandwich.Not a positive experience overall. PS To the Owner/Managerial Staff: Don't bother to reply to my comment. Your replies to otherless than satisfied customers were invariably rude. You are in business to provide hospitality and good food, not dispute whatpeople are saying to you. Clearly, you have issues with accepting constructive criticism. Read more
Best dogs I've ever had!! I'm definitely returning
Went in for a late lunch after a visit to the Knock Knock Museum. Delicious! Loved the atmosphere. Best Dawgs in the state. I... had relish, grilled onions , mustard and cheese on my dawg. Loved it. My daughter had the alligator with grilled onions. It wasreally good too. Will be going back for sure. Read more
We arrived maybe an hour or so before closing but luckily we were able to still get some food. Everything was just how it looked... - nothing spectacular but good enough. Some of the food was on the colder side but maybe since it was close to the end of theday. On the pricier side but portions are decent and plenty of outdoor seating. Really charming little spot. They are so friendly and love dogs! Every time we come our pup gets a free hot dog. It's a small... little shack with a homey feel. Great spot for lunch on a sunny day with outdoor seating in front and in back. The Chicago dogis delicious and so is the crawfish dog. The service is a little slow when it gets busy because there is only 1 or 2 people inthe kitchen and there is only one grill but it is worth the wait. Read more
