To start the table water was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. I usually can't drink water at restaurants. Our waitress... Kristen was very nice and helpful. The food was AMAZING and worth the wait. I would 100% recommend trying this place. I can'timagine anyone not liking it. We ordered Beef on a Weck and the Criollo. My husband was equally impressed and we will be back. Read more

Very nice fine dining restaurant in downtown Baton Rouge. Our friends introduced us to the restaurant and we enjoyed an... unhurried dinner. Cocktail menu and full wine list. Menu is divided into sharables, garden, sea, and land. In addition there aredaily specials that our waiter shared after we were seated. Every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. The corn cakesChachapa) with pork were a hit with all of us. Many of the entrees are prepared with sous vide which made them very tender. MyOsso Buco required nothing more than a fork. Easy parking on the street near the restaurant. Reservation recommended. Read more

Perfect little surprise! I parked for another restaurant but got curious as I walked by. I’m so glad the server stepped... outside at the perfect moment to invite me in. He suggested the wine and salmon and did so well! I thought I knew salmon beingfrom the Seattle area but I’ve never tasted salmon this good! The green beans were perfectly cooked and the wine was awonderfully sweet moscato. Read more

This place is by far one of the absolute best restaurants in Baton Rouge. I am vegan and the choices they have blew me away. ... The staff and owners are amazingly friendly and personable. I have dined in twice but the rest was take out for lunch. I havepeople at my job now ordering from there. You will not be disappointed. I can tell you for vegans the lasagna for dinner is verydelicious. Please do check them out. Juan, CoCo and Ronnie are the best hostesses and know the menu. Please go and write areview to say thank you because you won't regret it. Enjoy Read more

The atmosphere at Cocha was wonderful. Everywhere you looked there was a pleasant surprise from the sculptures hanging from the... ceiling to the lovely murals across the street. We sampled a few drinks and we might have been a little too adventurous fromeating an edible flower floating in my drink to the smoked cocktail my partner ordered. But the food and service were sublime. Ilook forward to my next visit to devour more of the incredibly well thought out combination of flavors and fresh ingredients.Highly recommend. Read more

11/19/21 Reservations for 7:30 P.M. First time visit! At first, my dinner date and I were seated at a small table for 2, and... though this was a bit frustrating, we rolled with it and understood that there were more groupings of 3+ Patrons dining. (On myreservation I asked to be seated at a large table and mentioned the purpose: that my dinner date and I would be trying severalitems.) To MY surprise, after a group left a table, it was immediately cleared off for us, and our waiter moved us along afterthe manager/owner mentioned there being a better spot for us. (GREAT JOB, MANAGEMENT TEAM!) NOW FOR THE FOODREVIEWS: EVERYTHING I ATE WAS AMBROSIAL!!!! 1. Vegetable Lasagna is INCREDIBLE!!!!! YOU MUST TRY IT! Whoever placed this on themenu is a genius!!! 2. The OSSO meal: TENDER MEAT!!!!! GREAT MASHED POTATOES and the vegetable medley was an awesomecombination and prepared well. 3. BRAISED BEEF CHEEKS appetizer is a Must!!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER TASTED THIS ITEM PREPARED ASTENDER ANYWHERE ELSE THAT LISTS IT ON THEIR MENUS! It is another absolute must! 4. OCTOPUS ???? MEAL: Okay, this was the firsttime I tried ????(and last...but only because my growth mindset is limited on this oceanic creature). It was well-marinated,too. It was tender and juicy. If I had to compare it to something, it would be to that of a tender and well-seasoned piece ofchicken breast. 5. Yummy PASSION FRUIT DESSERT!!!!!!!! Who came up with this menu? Very tasty! Restaurant ambiance isnice! Our waiter was THE BEST!!!! (I forgot his name, but he was handsome with long hair.) This restaurant needs to be featuredon the Food Network/Cooking Channel. The Chef and other cook staff/bar tenders really work hard to prepare tasty food anddrinks here. The presentation of the food is unlike any other in these parts. At the end of our great time here, theowner/manager came by and let us know that he was aware of accommodating us to a bigger table and that he just couldn'tinitially. (Very Read more
