The texture and taste of the individual ingredients obviously make or break any pizza. The best thing about this pizza is that... the crust is the thin, floppy, fold in half authentic NY style "pie". I won't even rate a pizza if it doesn't start with this.Outside of this, the rest was unimpressive. FYI, we visited on a Thursday night and chose the "build your own" 16" pie. From thefirst bite, I noticed salt.. a bit salty... cheese perhaps? The red sauce was mostly nonexistent on our pizza as though they alltogether skipped it. Fixable - we ordered extra on the side. In hindsight I would have ordered the pie with "extra redsauce". Unfortunately, the red sauce itself was bland. I prefer a tangy, flavorful red sauce. Lastly, I enjoy the pizza all theway down to the crust if the bread has a "sweet" flavor and good texture. This crust was a little bland. Bland red sauce andBland crust = mediocre pizza. However, I'm happy we gave it a try. The low-lit, bar-style atmosphere was great and the servicewas friendly. Read more

Only tried this place to earn airline miles before my miles expired. However, I must have done so incorrectly because I did not... earn miles from this order. Ordered a Bayou specialty pizza online on a local game day.Never received confirmation that orderwas being processed. Yet, I read a previous review saying sometimes the wait is 30 to 45 minutes so I dismissed it. Drove overto the restaurant which was a small, nice laidback sports bars atmosphere and crowded. The streets were packed with LSU fansshopping or walking towards campus for the game. There is very limited parking space since that part of town in jammed packedwith businesses by LSU and it was also an LSU home game day. Yet, luckily, I was able to park nearby. Went to the bar and askedabout my order. There was a new guy who was still training but he was friendly and went got someone who could help. The younglady he asked checked on the status of my order then apologized for seeing my online order being received but not yet made, toldme give them fifteen minutes to make my pizza, and refunded me immediately for my order of a taco since it's crazy on game dayand they don't do tacos on game day. The packed bar was very diverse with individuals from different backgrounds and so were thestaff who obviously loved working there. Like the young lady said it was ready within fifteen minutes. The pizza was deliciousand well made. I will go there again to try something new. Read more

Visited on LSU homecoming weekend, was a bit packed but didn?t take too long to be seated. Our waitress was super nice and... helpful in deciding on food and drinks for our table. Wings were my favorite and pizza was pretty good too. Will definitely becoming back to visit. Read more

The pizza was unimpressive. It was soggy and pretty much tasteless. We were 2 of the 5 people in there and it still took... forever for us to even receive menus. The lemonade was terrible. It tasted like the powder lemonades with a side of dish water. The smoked wings are dry and they simple drizzle a tiny bit of the sauce you requested on it. I sent back the wings and themanager came and gave a rude face when I said I wasn?t a fan of the flavor. I wasn?t rude about anything at all but he gave offvibes. The prices aren?t worth it. The server was nice, not overly friendly but nice. Honestly only go here if you just wantalcohol. Read more
