Anyone who thinks Batesville doesn't have any great locally-owned & operated restaurants is definitely mistaken! We've eaten in... this little gem for years (and have had lots catered from here, too) --- the food is always fabulous, the service is great, andthe atmosphere is awesome! Most days of the week, there's a packed house for lunch, but dining is available outdoors, too. Whenthe weather is good, the patio seating is wonderful, too ---- beautiful landscaping and lovely decor inside and out! 5 STAR! Read more
Friendly and welcoming, I love the cozy environment. They have strawberry butter! What?? Delicious! I had the lunch special and... it was hamburger steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, purple hull peas, and fried okra. My husband had the grilled shrimp poboywith fries.. All very delicious. Excellent service, quaint converted home with outside seating as well. Wonderful place to have lunch in a relaxed environment.... Egg and olive sandwich was fantastic, served with two huge slices of tomato, fruit and chips. Read more
