I love how it's a gift shop when you walk in the building! They have cabins you can stay in and the food is absolutely... delicious! I got the chopped beef sandwich and the meat was perfect along with their ghost pepper barbecue sauce. Outsideseating only, so good thing it was nice out! Read more

As a native Texan this is truly a bucket list stop. We showed up during a non-operational time and were not met with any issues.... We politely made our way to the back to take photos and left the place as we found it. Owner saw us and we immediatelyacknowledged him, as he was very courteous and waved to acknowledge we were no harm. Thanks ???? for that. Definitely a place worth visiting if you are a horror fan, or even if you aren't! The BBQ was delicious. I got a brisket... sandwich and chips that was amazing. I ate it before I thought about taking a picture because it smelled so good. There is anice little back area to eat at some picnic style tables. We saw a few cats wandering around the property. Lots of moviememorabilia and the gift shop had stuff from not only The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but other horror movies as well. I could'vebought the whole gift shop if I could've afforded it! Would definitely recommend checking it out! We went from Louisiana just tosee it and it was worth it! We almost made it on the same day the movie took place, but missed it by a day. Wow!! First off, we didn't get to try their BBQ because of the line but what an experience. Cosplay, live music, souvenirs and... the photo ops. Will come back for the BBQ. Loved staying here! We were the only guests (not creepy at all). BBQ was good, cheap beer, very clean and well maintained cabin... and washrooms. Owners were fantastic. Will definitely come back! Read more
Visited the summer of 2020 and as a fan is was definitely worth the drive. Cool hangout, lots of awesome collectibles. Wasn't... brave enough at the time to sit and eat with the climate at the time but there were plenty of out door seating avaliable to sitout and eat. Lots of people there were mentioning how good the food was. I'll be back soon to try some. Read more
