I went to this place while visiting Bastrop. The food was well prepared, and the staff were really nice to us. They noticed it... was our first visit so they ask us several times if we needed something, or if the food was good. The prices were veryreasonable as well. Read more

Wow! What a Gem in Bastrop! Our first time coming to this joint and I admit I love the homely feel. The restaurant is small,... quaint, super clean and located in "downtown" Bastrop. There is only so many tables, so be sure to get there early for lunchor dinner and be prepared for some awesome food. Ordered the Blackened Catfish salad and it was the BEST BC I have ever had. We sampled each others food and the fried shrimp was off the hook. Likewise, the beef patty on the cheeseburger has anincredible taste to it. Great place to stop and eat lunch in the quaint downtown of Bastrop. We had the catfish baskets with onion rings and a side of... cole slaw. Portions were more than generous. The catfish was excellent. The Cole slaw was very good. They add a little spiceto it that we liked. Our waitress was friendly and service was quick. All in all a great stop! Read more
