This place is certainly starting to disappoint. The food is good but every time I order wonton soup, we barely get any wontons.... We started requesting an amount of wontons we wanted and pay more. You order dinner for two people and get one pouch with anapkin with one soy sauce. One mustard and one duck sauce condiment in it. We ordered two shrimp rolls get with pack with oneduck sauce. Ask for hot sauce and what?s in the container is a droplet. It?s like you have to micro manage every order. Thenthey have the nerve to put out a tip jar. We were in Warren area last weekend and not much options for food, especially for Chinese food, so we ended up at Ling Ling.... Looks like a very typical low budget Chinese American food place, and we don?t have much expectations. We ordered general Tsao?schicken and house special noodle, in my view, turns out to be pretty tasting and reasonable portion. More importantly, and Ididn?t get upset stomach afterwards, so at least the food is fresh and clean. My wife wasn?t so impressed, but then she is morepicky; anyway, thus a 4 star. Read more
Ordered 2 lunch specials today for the first time (chicken with broccoli and chicken basil, both with hot and sour soup and... brown rice). Contrary to other reviews, the food was DELICIOUS - soup is one the top 2 in the area (we've tried 6 places sofar), both dishes were well sized for lunch and everything was packed well. We asked for medium spice and no it wasn't spicy butit was indeed very flavorful, NO MSG. Looking forward to trying out dinner! Read more
Rude service and food was not good. Ordered take out several weeks back and just asked that something be put on the side instead... of mixed in. They told me it would cost extra. Not sure why it costs extra just to have them put something on the side that theywould have put in it anyway but I ultimately told them to leave it out. I felt like I went back in time, the restaurant does not look like it has been changed for decades and have used sellotape to... fix it up .The plates looked like they were antiques used for many decades. I found it funny I recieved 1 springroll for 3dollars ????. The food was ok but not worth the price would have been happier with a Shincup instead.
