Food- Only had barbecued crabs and stuffed jalapeños and, goodness me, both were absolutely delicious! Staff was very pleasant... and friendly - hostess, bartender, server, and whoever was answering the phones! Probably the best all around service I'vereceived at a restaurant in the last 2 years. Add this to your list of things to do in this area. Eating, drinking, Cajun music, dancing! The service was great, the food was yummy, and it was a fun environment. I loved seeing my girls on the dance floor...a very... relaxed and fun family environment. Btw...try the blackened gator bites...super yummy. Frog legs were good too!!! Read more
Absolutely outstanding food. The owner was very responsive on Facebook and happens to be a fellow pilot. He had recommendations... of the blackened oysters which are insane and could probably finish 3-4 orders as an entree. Also had the BBQ crabs, and wifehad the Bangin BBQ shrimp! It was all gone by the time we got done with it. The best part is if you?re a pilot with a plane,there?s a nice parking area adjacent to the car parking lot west of the north end of the grass runway. That runway is easily oneof the best grass runways I?ve landed on. Very smooth and manicured and same goes for the parking area. Mind your prop blasttaking off to the south on runway 21. I landed to the north on runway 3. Absolutely can?t wait to come back. Most importantly,aside from being able to fly in, the prices were reasonable and the service was outstanding. Very good cajun food. This place gets crowded pretty quickly, so I suggest getting there early. Although we got there early,... staff still let us in to wait. Comfortable seating, we didn't feel too close to others. There is live music and an area to danceif you'd like. Menu has frog legs, oysters, fish, alligators, shrimp, burgers, poboys, crabs, ribs, etc. Their dessert breadpudding was also really good. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Parking was probably the most difficult part, as when we went toleave it was so packed it was hard to get out. Read more
