The service was EXCELLENT! The food seems like school cafeteria stuff. Just not what you'd expect for the price, which is as... high as a bigger nicer chain restaurant. Small portions of the plain, sometimes cold, food doesn't help matters. Nice, cleaneating area. VERY nice staff! Just not impressive food for the cost. Read more

Great homemade food! I had the pork tenderloin and it was tender and good tasting! I'm not sure I would call it "giant" but I... was certainly full after eating it. The onion straws were also very good. Definitely worth checking out! Read more

Kelly's is a long-standing casual dining restaurant in the Basehor, Kansas area, just a few miles West of the Village West area... of Kansas City, Kansas. The restaurant features several staples of a small town cafe, such as Chicken Fried Steak andCheeseburgers, as well as a descent selection of kids meals, appetizers, and desserts. The food is good, not great, andunfortunately the speed of the meal was pretty rough. It's busier on a Sunday afternoon, and if you don't have anything going onit would be a fine place to sit and be with your party, but it took around two hours after being seated for everything to becompleted. Obviously that's egregious in itself, but moreover, the portion sizes weren't great and the taste wasn't anythingspecial. Though it gets a slightly higher star rating for being a local restaurant trying to make it in 2022, it would be hardto recommend someone eating here over the myriad of options five or so minutes down the road. Kelley?s is that place where everyone knows your name. The small town, home style, go to restaurant with delicious home cooked... food. Don?t miss Howard?s meatloaf or the chicken fried chicken. Leave room for a slice of homemade pie. Beer I served fresh andcold in frozen mugs. The way it should be. Kelley?s is worth a trip out of the city. Read more
