Found Los Palmitas on the way out of Memphis and stopped to eat. It was one of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever ate at!... Sylvia our waitress was great and provided excellent service as well! Thank you!!! Read more

Chips and salsa made in house, so good you will be eating the crumbs. Shrimp tacos and a chicken fajita burrito for the main... course. Both were very good. For desert we ate their version of cheesecake, wrapped and lightly deep fried. Forgot to get apicture of that though. Wonderful. Will be back again and again. Amazing and fresh food. Friendly service. Not a fancy place, but we care more about the food and service and those are great.... Chips were awesome. Only negative is that the building is away from the street and they have the tiniest dimly lit sign on thestreet that is easy to miss at night. I passed it twice before finally seeing the larger sign on the building. They seemedunderstaffed (cook was also waitress) but we got the food quickly. Good hardworking people. Not a chain!
