The guy waiter was friendly and funny. The young lady who brought drinks was nice and efficient. Food was really good and they... had Motown like music playing which we all enjoyed. It was super cold inside and would be nice if they served coffee or hadcoffee cups for hot water instead of styrofoam. But overall good experience. Read more
The power went out in my area. My son was hungry so we went out for dinner. After getting turned away at one restaurant, ignored... at another, I went through a drive through. I saw Applebee's and took a chance. Best decision was my last unfortunately. We weregreeted and seated in a timely manner. Our server Mr. Christopher was AMAZING! Drinks ???? were on point! My son was satisfiedwith his late night carbs. ???? I will definitely be back often. Read more
Good food and customer service. Women's restroom was not clean at all.
Requested seating at the bar. Half dozen used glasses and napkins scattered throughout. Waited 12 minutes and finally asked the... hostess if there was a bartender there. She finally came out of the kitchen to serve my squadron reunion. Bar sink was cloggedand she used a toilet plunger near us to attempt to clear it. She then grabbed a rag and soaked up the dirty water andproceeded to ring out the water onto the floor drain. I knew then that I would not order food here. She started to wash glassesin a 3 compartment sink but never used the third compartment which is supposed to be for sanitizing. With COVID still aroundthat should be a must. I was an award winning manager of Marriott hotels and restaurants and saw several violations that thelocal health department would frown upon. Apple Bee's has had a sharp decline in quality for years and this restaurant iskeeping up with this trend. I only gave 1 star because zeros weren't an option. Read more
I was ordering from Applebee's at least once a week but before the last week I ordered online and I was about twenty minutes... late picking up my order and it still wasn't ready. I had to wait another thirty minutes before my order was ready. The nextweek I left home with the intention to go to Piccadilly but I said okay I was going to give Applebee's one last chance. I placemy order online and when I got there to get my order, they gave me my order and I left. I bought enough food for four people.When I got to where I was going , I got the food out of the bag and I noticed I was short of my grilled chicken salad andchicken fettuccine. I called the store fifty times no one answered the phone so that meant I had to drive ten miles back to thestore to get the rest of my order. I talked to the supposed to be a manager. His remarks was oh yeah they were to give you twobags instead of one. This man didn't apologize for my inconvenience he didn't say anything else but walked off. What kind ofbusiness is that. I would have felt better if he had just said, I am sorry for the inconveniences it put you in but nothing. SoI say to others, it's better not to go to the one on stages road. We dined in two hours before closing. Unfortunately, it was NOT the best service for most customers. Several customers... complained. Customers waited so long they decided to cancel their orders. Our order and many others orders were inaccurate. (Ibelieve this location may have been understaffed. ) I watched the manager reprimand an employee in front of customers and theemployee was working hard doing her job. We received our order before people in the carryout area and some dine in customers whoordered before us. More than anything I was disappointed in watching a manager reprimand an employee who asked for assistancebut the manager made insulting comments to the employee. I saw and understand the manager had just been told off by another customer, but don't go off on the people there to help you. I hope in the future we won't recycle the bitterness that othersgive to us. I hope we learn to appreciate the help others are giving us in our time of need. Read more
This was a disaster from the very beginning. We had a large group (13) so I tried to call ahead. I was hung up on 3 times while... navigating their maze of an automated system, and when I reached a person he tried calling who I needed.. across therestaurant... but couldn't help me when they didn't answer the phone (from inside the restaurant!!). I stopped by today afterwork and they were very nice, so I had hope. When we arrived, we waited 20 minutes while the table was set up, and the hostupdated us to let us know our server was running late. He didn't want to seat us until our server arrived, but we asked to beseated anyway so we had a place to sit. Our server was late for work and then was not told he was to take care of us, whichextended our wait for service. We ordered an appetizer which came our with our meals, and our meals came out one. at. a. time.They came out so slowly (over the course of an hour) that some were finished eating while others still waited. Our server had tocheck more than once who still didn't have food and cross reference from his booklet to see who was forgotten.. When our mealsarrived, they weren't hot, and my 4 cheese mac n cheese was missing... cheese. There was a little bit of cheese sauce in thebottom of the bowl, but even when I mixed it all in, I had many bare noodles. We complained, my cousin had her meal taken offher ticket, and my mac n cheese was taken back for more cheese. The manager stood in front of us wringing his hands on the towelhe was holding and apologized by saying the mac n cheese doesn't come with cheese, only a cheese sauce. My cousin also was notoffered anything else in place of the meal she sent back. Nothing was organized.. none of the steaks came out together, the tworiblet plates didn't come out together, my mac n cheese bowl came out room temp and missing cheese while my son's mac n cheesewas forgotten, I could go on. When I was in New Hampshire earlier this year the small town I was staying in had limited options for dining. One of them was... Applebee's. I found a few things on their menu that I really liked. I often ordered French onion soup along with the strawberryvinaigrette chicken salad, or the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled shrimp. Occasionally since then I've dropped into anApplebee's and ordered those items. Then tonight, I was served this. I think it's supposed to be French onion soup. That's anactual slice of Swiss cheese just plopped on top of a slice of bread on a bowl of beef soup with onions. The cheese wouldn'tmelt and was...chewy. The salad wasn't quite right either. I gave them the option to try again on the soup. Instead they tookit off the bill. So they know they're serving substandard food. Not unhealthy, but unappetizing. I didn't ask to speak to amanager, but in most restaurants if you send something back they immediately know about it and come over to check on you.Tonight, no one came over to check on me. They've clearly quit caring. I certainly won't be back to this location, and it willprobably be awhile before I give the chain another chance.
