The woman who owns it is so miserable and nasty to people that I can?t even go in there anymore. I?ve decided after all these... years enough is enough. Went in there Monday and she was even more rude than her usual self. I?m done with this place even if ittakes way longer for me to go out of my way to get sandwiches before hiking/skiing. I?m just trying to be nice and buy somethings from them, but she looks SO mad that I dared enter her store!! Unreal. Read more
Just like many of the other reviews in here, I'm going to leave my obligitory one-star for this establishment solely because of... the woman working the register when you first walk in. We were not greeted, in fact... I greeted her! Not friendly here at all,not to mention I was sassed about a five dollar minimum on card purchases. There are signs saying "No public restroom", which isabsolutely their right and I didn't walk in expecting to be able to use it, but I thought if I purchased something I would justbe polite and ask. Was met with several rude responses about there being signs on the door. There was also a sign on the doorsaying "be kind to those who showed up to work", right next to the "help wanted" sign. No wonder they are short staffed if thisis the person they have to work with on a daily basis. Not worth stopping here if this is how they treat customers. Read more
Bart's has just about everything, and the deli is amazing. Take the word of this hungry hiker and don't pass up the haddock... Reuben... a delicious reward after a day on the trail. Don't skip the cookies, either. Read more
