We've been to chicken express twice now. The first experience was great and food was good. This time around the guy taking our... order was rude and couldn't be get the order right. Asked specifically for gravy without the potatoes and apparently that's abig deal and the worker got an attitude with us. Unfortunately we love the food here but left because of the staff. Read more

Pro: Staff is friendly. Cons: Food is not great. Chicken was lean and mostly breading. Biscuits were hard as a rock. Mac and... cheese tasted like it was boiled in asparagus water. The Young man at the drive through was polite and helpful in ordering the food, and the drive through line moved at a decent... time rate. The fried chicken & rolls were good, didn't like the biscuits, and I had to go through the line twice to get mydrink, but it was still a good. Read more

First off let me say the food is great but the customer service at the Bartlesville, Oklahoma location SUCKS! Constantly missing... parts of an order, tonight they gave us the wrong call in order and we had to drive back and exchange it and all they did forour trouble was NOTHING!! No discount, nothing. When I asked if I could take the wrong order and donate it to a family I know inneed they said no that they are required to throw it away. In these hard times you?d think they would allow that especiallysince it was their mistake plus they are going to take a right off for it anyway. But also their employees at night have a don?tcare about anything attitude. Last week they left my parent standing waiting for our food which was ready while they just stoodaround and talked. We eat at Chicken Express more than any other place when we travel the 45 miles to Bartlesville. I really want to like it, but... the food is rarely all hot. In fact, the only thing served that is guaranteed to be hot is the chicken livers..."that will be 5minutes as we make them fresh." I would wait 10 or more minutes to get everything hot. Yesterday, the fish was old (verycommon), chicken strips lukewarm, corn nuggets cold. We watched when the crowd grew (1215 or so) hoping next time to come backwhen everything is hot. Problem: too much cooked ahead sitting under heat lamps. Problem: orders sit for some time not underheat lamps waiting for all items to be added. We will keep trying.
