I was passing through Barstow and found this Foster's Freeze. When I was pregnant 31 years ago, in El Cajon, CA, I craved their... real strawberry shakes. They are the BEST. This place has been around in Barstow for so long it's a part of the towns history offering people sweets and grub that put a... smile on your face. Reminding us all of the kid in us all. Thank you for this for being a constant staple in our little town. Irecently went there with my mom and my 95 year old gma and we shared stories about this place over some ice cream. Unfortunately wasted $30 here. We were passing through and looking for something quick. Possibly the worst fries I've ever... tasted. Along with the saltiest chicken tenders I've ever had. I'm not sure who actually enjoys this food. Don't even considerthe "burrito" - deep fried bread stuffed with mystery meat and a few beans. Zuchini sticks were edible but only drenched intheir watered down ranch. Save your coins, skip this place. Read more

Ordered 2 for $4 grilled cheese sandwiches, a banana shake, and a bacon jam cheeseburger with no pickles. When the food was... brought to me, both my grilled cheese were burnt and as i went to check the burger, i found there was pickles. I went up to thefront counter and ttold the girl that i asked for no pickles and i wanted my burger remade. Not 1 minute later, She brings meout the exact same burger. And i know it was the same burger because if it was "remade" it would've taken them a lot longer tomake, also i opened the burger and could immediately smell the pickle juice from where they removed the pickles. I went straightup to the front counter once again and told them that " i wanted it remade with no pickles but instead they just took them outand handed me the same burger". I told them i didn't even want the burger anymore and they can just throw that one away. Thiswas the worst experience I've ever had at fosters and I'm p*ssed off!
