The team at Bluewater went above and beyond to accommodate our wedding dinner and cocktail reception. Steve was with us every... step of planning, Chef Cara killed the menu and left our guests full and happy, Courtney took care of every need we could haveimagined day of, and bartender Derek kept the drinks flowing. I have never had the privilege of working with such a professionaland thoughtful team. They were all stars bringing our intimate vision to life. I literally don’t have words to express mygratitude. The food was delicious! The calamari was fresh and tender. The lobster grilled cheese was a unique spin and it did not... disappoint! The shrimp tacos were wonderfully prepared. All of the wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait toreturn!! Read more

Love this restaurant. Great location. Sat on patio, then to the firepit for a drink after. Food was outstanding. I find indoor... dining a little loud for my liking, but it wouldn't stop me from dining in during colder months. Courtney was a great server! Read more
This place is a local gem and great place to have in town, but is also well worth travelling to. It's simple to write a review... for a one-off great experience at a restaurant on their best day, but we've been here dozens of time and this review is for themany months of consistently rewarding visits. They are hospitable and welcoming, their menu varies seasonally, the dishes usequality ingredients and are expertly prepared, and the service makes it easy to tip generously. They regularly have a steadystream of customers, but always find a way to get us seated in short order. Plenty of tables in the dining room but, if youcatch a nice day/evening, their outside dining is certainly pleasurable as the sun sets. Now all they need to do is bring backthe Buddha Bowl for us plant eaters so I can add a sixth star! If you haven't been here before, just go -- you won't bedisappointed. Read more
Stoping at Bluewater Bar + Grill for a short lunch during our bike ride was a great idea. We enjoyed eating each one of their... fresh and delicious salads (Pear and Arugula, Tropical Quinoa bowl). Large plates with great flavors. Bypassing the dessertswould have been a mistake, both the Ghiradelli (chocolate) Brownie Sundae and the beignets were terrific. One word -GO! The food and service are perfectly done. The collard greens are something to be savored and enjoyed. The pork... chop and salmon are standouts also. Bluewater is a hidden gem in Barrington. Read more
