Menu for Topwater brewing in Barrington, NH

Mixed feelings about this spot. I wanted to love it but got let down. I ordered a flight to test the beers. I wasn't excited... about the fact that they were served in plastic cups. The beer was decent. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered the "giant pretzel"(that was anything but giant) thinking I would share it with my beer buddy. It literally looked like those boxed frozen pretzelsthat you buy in grocery markets. Needless to say, I was able to eat it on my own. Super disappointed. Having been to many craft breweries, my husband and I did not have super high expectations when we came across this place in our... travels but boy were we wrong! We stopped in on a Tuesday. Upon arrival it looks like a typical local pizza joint. There's acute seating area outside and a cool piece of artwork displaying "Topwater Brewing" along the fence. We went inside and sat atthe bar. There was a cool vibe with lots of license plate decor. We were greeted by the most friendly bartender, Sonia (sp?)She was attentive, incredibly sweet and gave great recommendations. Tuesday happens to be $5 flight day. Naturally, we shared aflight, sampling a few of their spectacular beers. We were not disappointed! We tried the special bacon, jalepeno cheddar bombswhich were fabulous and then had the steak bomb pizza. While waiting for our food, the brewer, Chuck came and greeted us. Heshared with us his brewing experience and obvious passion for what he does. We visited several other breweries during our minivaca, but our experience at Topwater was by far the best one! Kozy's Pizza and a brewery? Best of both worlds. Adam was amazing. Food was amazing. We were visiting my parents for 6 days and... we ended up sitting at the bar twice. Bourbon lovers need to visit. Beer lovers need to visit. Kozy's lovers need to keepvisiting. Read more

A fun find on our drive home. I?d immediate give the vibe a 5, but the beers weren?t our favorite, so I gave it a 4. That being... said, they offer a full bar, their own beers, live music and trivia nights, and a cute outside seating area. We sat inside dueto the crazy humidity, but would love to come back and sit outside. Side note: lots of cool decor using license plates. Read more
