About 8 years ago we went to Dante's Pasta & Vino for dinner. Once we were seated it took about 30 minutes for a waitress to... take our order, then another 45 minutes for our dinner to arrive. The food was just okay. In 2016 I received a giftcertificate and put it in the glove compartment of my car. I found the gift certificate and called the restaurant 9/23 at 6:24pm to check if the certificate was still valid. A young man answered the phone said he didn't know if it was still valid andsaid call back tomorrow and hung up on me. Looked online and saw in NH gift certificates under $100. do not expire. So tonightat 5:33 I called to place an order for take out (my husband and I are both over 70 and he has stage 4 cancer so we are notcomfortable sitting in a restaurant} I was told by the young man who answered the phone we have stopped taking take out ordersfor tonight and hung up on me. I think I will throw the gift certificate out Dante's has horrible customer service and the foodis only okay. Read more

Arrived early for a 3pm dinner reservation. They were just switching over from brunch. They said sit anywhere in the bar area.... That was not the dining experience I was expecting. I expected a more upscale experience for my wife?s birthday. Service was ok.Salad was good. I had stuffed shells they were overcooked and dry. My wife had lobster ravioli it was good. We finished with ahot lava cake with ice cream that was good. Perhaps if our dinner was later the ambiance might have been better. On a whim we stopped by for lunch on a rainy day to check this place out. Outdoor seating was available but due to the rain we... opted inside. It?s casual with almost a tavern like feel. The waiter was a nice kid who was very prompt and efficient. He wassuper upbeat and friendly as well. We placed our orders and well, I won?t order Carbonara anywhere else now. The food is excellent, made from high quality ingredients, reasonably priced, and the staff is awesome. All of the pasta they... serve is either made in-house or imported from Italy. It's the most authentic Italian restaurant that I've been to in the area.Whenever we have guests we bring them and we go solo at least once a month. It's probably my favorite place to eat right now.
