Tons of food stuff... Dips, Hot sauces, maple products,teas, coffee, craft beer...the glorious pickles and cheese (try the 3 year aged). Took a drive north last weekend to visit a few NH locations, Calef's being one. When I say everything old-fashioned, I mean... everything. Syrups, cheeses, crackers, maple candy, kids' games like Tiddly-Winks and Jacks, coffee mugs, bread mixes, barmixes, and on and on. No sign of ANYTHING tech!! In back there is a deli to die for, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Staffwas friendly, store was busy but clean and well-stocked. A little tight on parking, but so worth the trip. Read more

Popular always. Lunch ham and cheese. Miss the anadama bread???? delicious spicy ginger snap cookies???? However, of my... favorite (only mustard I use, cranberry maple sweet hot mustard!). I have to say in one of the best country stores in NH. Great deli with the freshest of meats! Kids will love the penny candy... section not to mention all the other goodies. Homemade jams/spreads, pickling kits, A front display filled with all types ofchocolates, truffles, fudge and much more! The employees are extremely friendly and all of which seem to carry that old fashioncharm! Read more
Old fashion store that has a wide spectrum of an unusual blend of modern and old fashion items that have no rhyme or reason for... being there. Tightly packed merchandise where electrical strings of light are near bars of soap. There are many whirligig lawnornaments available in bright colors. Hard to take it all in one stroll through. You'll probably always find something unusualin a newly noticed nook and cranny. Read more
