I have come to this candy shop for the last 10 years. That should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I'll say more: I absolutely... love chocolate malts. Any place I go that has them, I always order one. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever hadanywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the maltsare the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10." However, if you aren't into malts, there are manyother things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that Ihaven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your localgrocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section. If you'rein the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. I'm moving several hours away tomorrow, but you can be sure that any time I come back tovisit, I'll be stopping here for a malt! Read more
YOU have to GO!! Other than Ice Cream, which may be awesome, I was they candy from long..long..ago. I spent over $30.00 for... HUGE amount of candy from 1960....YUM.. and yes owner had JARs to use... It's really easy to find it's small but it's the whitebuilding and it is awesome go there, owner will be extremely friendly...but stop and ENJOY your shopping, and friendship I'mgoing back for each Holiday, Hollowe and Christmas..... Went to the SweetSpot tent at the Polo Match yesterday! They had every candy imaginable from novelty pieces to current new... favorites. They also had ice cream, Italian ice, pretzels, nachos & funnel cakes. I?ve been to the shop plenty of times as welland they have even more sweet treats there. Definitely stop by and support this great local business!! Read more
