This was our first time here and to say we were impressed. I had the yorkshire pudding filled with mash potatoes and beef, lots... of beef. The real veggies were a nice treat. Now I couldn't eat it all. My husband had the burger with cheese and bacon. It wasa good sized burger. The fries were good but came in second to the burger. Lots of food well worth the money. I didn't get ourwaitress's name, however she was very pleasant and professional. Will be back next time I'm passing through. Read more

I attended this restaurant a couple days ago with 3 other friends. There were not many other customers at the time. It was my... friends birthday and she was visiting us from Alberta. I chose this location because I used to frequently attend it with friendslast year and it used to be amazing. Now their menu is cut in half....next to no selection. It took OVER an hour for ourappetizers to arrive......and 4 of the alcohol beverages were complete garbages. I was safe with mine because I ordered a bottleof beer which they couldn't mess up if they tried. After being there for about 1.5 hours we gave up and cancelled our dinnerorders. We paid for our garbage drinks and our appetizers, gave our server a large tip (who was an absolute sweetheart whoapologized MULTIPLE times during our stay)...and I requested a manager call me the next day because they don't have managers atthe restaurant on Friday nights. I did not receive a call. I highly recomend avoiding this restaurant. It's a shame....becausethey used to be great!! Read more

Service was slow like 45 mins from ordering till we got our food, only gave us one menu between the 2 of us, waited for waitress... to ask if we needed a drink refill for about 10-15 mins, food was okay, the Philly steak sandwich definitely didn?t havetenderloin on it like the menu said, more like strip loin, And the cheese on the grilled cheese for the burger wasn?t melted.Kinda greasy crowd on a Sunday night aswell. Where the burgers actually looks like the advertised picture???? Sept. 8 Came for lunch with my teen, I had the burger which... was mouth-watering good and fish & chips is probably the best we've had in Ontario. Hardly saw waitress probably due to covidtimes but when we did she was super nice.. If you're wanting the taste of home burgers or fish & chips this is definitely theplace ???? Sept.16 Couldn't stop raving and thinking about my last buirger here I had to come back and brought a friend toconfirm my tastes buds were correct.. and it did not disappoint. This time I had the Bacon & onion Burger which had 2 largedeepfried onion rings in it I could barely wrap my mouth around it to take a bite and when I bit down, ohhh those juices thatoozed from all the flavours ... ahhhhh! Sooo good! And I had house salad instead of fries this time and pleasantly surprised bythe size I was even able and wanted to share so my friend can see how amazing it tasted. Wickie's on the day that I was there was really nice, the sun was shining, the service was hopping, the soccer fans were having... a great time on the patio, but most of all, my hand beer battered fish & chips were absolutely delicious ????, house made tartersauce, juicy lemon, & an ice cold draft beer! What more could a person ask for in a restaurant. As in most places right now,they have a limited menu, but don't let that kid you! There is still lots to choose from! The table next to us had what lookedto be an amazing burger ????????. Lots of patio space incase you want to come with you team to celebrate your win, orcommiserate in your loss.
