I absolutely loved my experience today at The Vegan Pantry! From the moment I walked up I just knew it would be a special spot.... I was amazed upon walking in how beautiful the front of house was and then also when I walked into the dining area. Very clean,and friendly atmosphere. I loved the focus on animals and the positive aspects of being vegan, especially as an ethical vegan. Itried the Hawaiian panzorotti and was amazed by the flavour. The crust alone was out of this world. Before leaving I had to grabsome dessert of course and left with two snickers bars and a butterfingers (not all for me I brought some for friends)!!! We had the Big Pantry Burger and it was sooooooooooo delicious! I can highly recommend it! The server was super nice and I loved... the atmosphere! The restaurant is kind of a hidden gem - something you only find if you know about it, as the building doesn'treally look like a restaurant from the outside! Read more

Tried the Vegan Pantry and couldn't have been happier. Firstly, the girl who served me was extremely friendly and very helpful... as it was only my 3rd day into my vegan lifestyle. She took her time explaining things to me and seemed very happy to help. Ihad the jalapeno burger. The burger was great! Amazing flavour and I loved the air fries. My son had the poutine and he alsoloved it. We took home some cauliflower wings for the next day and a couple of "snickers" bars. The cauliflower wings weregreat. The snickers were HUGE and was absolutely amazing. Definitely couldn't eat one myself. Will definitely be back and wouldrecommend to anyone. Even those who aren't vegan but love most foods. What a cute little vegan shop. Big menu, lots of choices for warm meals, desserts, and even cold boxed meals ready to take... home. We ordered ahead, picked up a few warm meal options, along with two desserts. Everything was really good. We noticedsome stuff did lack salt, so I had to go back in and ask for some. No big deal. Definitely going to make it back here on ournext trip through Barrie. Read more
We were excited because this is a super cute place inside & because my fiancé is vegetarian. However, the teeny expensive pizza... looked and tasted disgusting & they recook their fries so they?re pasty and dry and also disgusting lol!! My fiancé reallytried to eat his pizza but by the third bite he had to go back and ask for a refund because it was so bad. He actually neverasks for refunds either, so it must have been super awful. The owner said she ?doesn?t give refunds.? ???? I have never heard ofthat in my life-I?m sorry but what?! You make bad food and you don?t give a refund?! I liked my jackfruit tenders & the sweets,but when I went up and showed her the fries and asked if she recooked then she said ?I do them in an air fryer.? I?m sorry lady,but air fried fries are delicious, I know because we have done them many times like that. These fries were the worst I?ve everhad, on par with when I?ve reheated fries myself?but drier, pastier, and partially burnt (air fried twice perhaps?!). I can?tsupport an establishment that makes expensive food that tastes bad with no possibility of a refund, and also lies to me andserves reheated garbage. Also, other 1 star reviews have said similar things so our experience has happened more then once. Sadfood & customer service! Will not return. Read more
