2022 July: 5/5 -their noodles are amazing, moist, tasty, do not stick to one another, and very delicious overall. Had their... chow mien dish and was impressed by the serving size and the quality. Always a fantastic experience with expedient and friendly service. The staff wears masks and makes sure your water glass is... never empty. Their All You Can Eat menu covers a broad variety of dishes one would expect from a Canadian Sushi restaurant. Mostnotably, their Dim Sum and Sashimi are the best in Barrie, and well worth the price every time. I cannot recommend this placeenough. Read more

Pathetic fish roe sushi! They charge you a premium $3 dollars per piece haha and it is all rice with a light dust of fish roe !... This is a disgrace to sushi! Literally it is about an inch thick of rice.. Spicy tuna roll is all cucumber and tempura! Qualitywent down big time! This is the south Barrie location. I'm not going here anymore after being ripped off $23 dollars for next tonothing in sushi. I assume the location in the north end is being run under the same management style , so If you want propersushi in barrie make the trip to Aji Sai! I do not do all you can eat, but instead a la carte so I can really see how theserestaurants perform on quality pieces. Today was a big fail. You can clearly see they are trying to cut back on tuna and thefish roe. I should've taken more pictures as the miso soup was flavourless and had no tofu or seaweed. Read more
Very happy to have Sakana House in our neighbourhood. Their food is absolutely delicious and it's nice to have a restaurant... within walking distance. So many faves on the menu. Obviously sushi is a main focus of this restaurant and it's definitelyfresh and delicious. If you haven't tried an ice roll yet, you need to. Mango, avocado and crab in rice paper wrap with mangosauce. My fave. (Shown in photo). There's really something for everyone here, though, whether you like sushi or not. Give it atry! Absolutely amazing food! I drove up from Bradford because I had a huge craving for sushi and really wanted all you can eat. This... places exceeded my expectations. Great price for great quality food and lots of selections. Very friendly staff that areconstantly cleaning and wearing proper masks. Had early dinner which was nice because we had time to eat with our 1.5 year oldin the back room all to ourselves. Felt very safe and since we were early the service was super fast that we couldn't keep up.Was worth the 30 minute drive, will be coming back again for sure! Read more
EDIT: WHOLE PARTY GOT FOOD POISONING Changed rating from 2 stars to 1 star. Shameful. Food was below average. Not very fresh... tasting. I did enjoy the custard bun. Service was pretty good however the amount of flies that i was swatting away from my foodmade it less enjoyable. I enjoyed watching the aquarium in the entryway.
