I was ordering from here 5 times a week until the manager refused to substitute a Buffalo sandwich with a regular sandwich on a... coupon which I printed from their website just before I attended the restaurant.They both cost the same and the manager was rudeabout it. He says "to bad call head office." So now I just go to Popeyes and have no issues. I guess they don't need thebusiness. Go to Popeyes its just better. Follow Up: I guess after looking at these coupons it becomes obvious that the ownerhas no idea what he is talking about. Its best just to avoid this place and the problems. Read more

Alright. Not too greasy but not that flavorful. Tasted like fried chicken but I would say the main few chicken chains just have... more flavor for around the same price point. The staff member was friendly, service was decently fast but not the fastest. Foodwas hot and freshly made which was nice. Not a sit down place but does have some tables if you choose to. Read more

There's a lot going for this place. The chicken is juicy and tender, it's made to order. So either call ahead or wait a bit at... the place. But Quik is not what it is. It's good and bad. Onto the chicken. Just like Popeyes they bank on the fact you willorder spicy instead of mild. Don't get me wrong the coating is extra crispy. But without it being spicy there's no flavour toit. Not salty. No white pepper. I guess they make it neutral for all tastes instead of taking a risk and making itdecent. Also I ordered the 8 piece meal and on the card beside the till said it was X amount of money while I got charged 10dollars more base price not including taxes. Great tasting crispy chicken that is far less greasy than KFC. Fries and gravy are great too. It takes awhile for them to... prepare your order, but it's worth it. Highly recommend Quik Chik Barrie. Read more

My friend brought dinner for us last night while we were at work, never heard of this place so of course not in rush to eat it... and just gathered our utensils, condiments, etc. It was still piping hot as we sat and opened the boxes to grab our pieces outto eat... If I only knew then what I knew after biting into this chicken, I'd dive into it first and forget preparing for sitdown eating. From the looks, smell, to the touch, and taste, just the right flavour bursts when biting down I felt my salivaooze out the corners of my mouth. My body twitches, my taste buds are ignited, my desire blossoms for more, Ohhhh meeee gawd!!!This made me cluck with ecstasy, I'm hit with amnesia forgetting any memories of past fried poultry and replacing it with newones. I loved it so much, I wanted to put a wing on it ???????????????? I had to have it again the next day, twice... I droveover 15 mins to get my fix???? I ordered the special $28.99,12 pcs, 1 large side (Cajun fries), 4 biscuits You'll have towait for your order as they fry it fresh but it's so worth it! I went into the Quik Chik on Duckworth first went there couple months back best chicken ever been back few times very satisfied.... Unfortunately I went there today the special I always got was 10 piece chicken, 4 biscuits fries and drinks for around $24.00dont remember exactly special today was $21.95 but only get 8 pieces, fries and no biscuits or drinks but I thought oh well Iwill still get it now here's the problem. The lady rang in my order at $19.99 plus two biscuits for $1.25 each for a totalprice of $22.49 before taxes not $21.95 as advertised. So I ask oh is this a new special I felt I was getting a better dealsame amount chicken and fries but two biscuits as well for only 50 cents more. But no she said I have to charge you $19.99 andadd price of two biscuits $ 1.25 each Wait for it she says the price for the special was $19.99 for chicken and fries but mycash register does not recognize the new price of $21.95 so I add in the price of two biscuits to make up the difference inprice so you still get 8 pieces and fries only no biscuits. So I let that sink in for a minute then I say to her so byinputting $19.99 plus $1.25 for each biscuit you are now charging me $22.49 for the special instead of $21.95 so now I am paying50 cents more for the special than what was advertised. So I am not really upset at 50 cents but the stupidity of it all andthe very bad customer relations. If your cash register is not equipped to handle the new price don't advertise or charge ituntil it is ready then not screw over your customers. Read more

I am deeply disappointed in the response I have received from this restaurant. I have ordered from this company a few times and... have enjoyed their chicken meals. I had purchased a family meal yesterday of 24 pieces and had no problems with the first twoboxes of chicken. In the third box, as I am peeling back my chicken, I noticed something black ATTACHED INTO the skin. Flickingit off, what do I find? A FLY. In my food. I was horrified and immediately threw it away. I tried calling the restaurant andnot only do they NOT have an answering machine, the woman who answered it (after my numerous attempts to get through) wasimmediately in denial. When I told her that I have photos, she immediately changed her tune and said that she could do somethingfor my next order. I told her I frankly would not be ordering again from them as I was very unimpressed by the response Ireceived in the matter. I understand. Things happen. To tell me that you will have the store owner reach out to me (the phonecall ended at 4:50 PM) and it is now 9:47 PM, I am extremely frustrated at how this has been handled.
