So I had come to this place because it was close to where I work so I thought hmmm I should get some Jamaican food. My first... thought approaching the shop was never judge a book by its cover I ordered a small oxtail with a patty and a sorrel ginger. Thelady then continued to pull the food out from the fridge and microwave it, and that was when I started to feel uncomfortableabout my order because they didn't have hot tables but I still wanted to give this place a chance. As I walked out with my bagit felt a little light so I looked inside to only see that I had two small pieces of oxtail and barely any rice and this is ameal that I paid almost $15 for I then went back to the restaurant asking for my refund and the server started to yell andscream that I wouldn't receive my money back. I ended up leaving the food at the restaurant without touching it and they stilldecided to keep my money. I don't mind paying for food but this was a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend thisplace to anyone especially because of their poor customer service skills. Also when I had called back about the refund the sameserver threatens to call my work place and she told me she would file a harassment claim against me and at this point I don'teven want my money back I just don't think people like this should be running a business, please beware of where you guys getyour food from. There is a Jamaican restaurant next door its called one love island their food is amazing and their customerservice is on point. Or you can try The Jerk Marshall Jamaican Grill its across the street from Patty Hut which is one of myfavorites because they actually have a kitchen in the back of the restaurant where you can see the food being made fresheveryday. First time visiting this food place. Ordered the jerk chicken dinner, beef patties, jerk chicken patties. The spice level was... very nice on the jerk chicken. Spicy but not overpowering. Be sure to call ahead to find out what is on the menu for that day.Everything is prepared fresh each day, so only a limited selection of items. Very good tasting jerk chicken.
