Great venue for live music. Went specifically to see a friend?s band playing. Had the nachos which were a giant portion - best... to share! Nachos were tasty but a little on the dry side, could benefit from some salsa. Mango margaritas were delicious as wasthe carrot cake dessert which was more of a cheesecake crossed with a cake. Amazing restaurant with great meat! 5/5 for atmostphere. The C&W music was upbeat and not too loud that you could not have a conversation. Lots of indoor (open air)... and outdoor spaces. 5/5 for apps. Cowboy Caviar was A-mazing! Deep fried pickle slices were tasty. Easier to eat than pickleslices. 4/5 for wings. First, the smoked flavours was lovley. The meat was tender, fall-off-the-bone. Perfectly cooked. My onlycomplaint was the 'hot sauce'. It was a butter base, but all I could taste was greasy oil. No sauce texture or flavour. We hadan additional bowl on the side and even after stirring I could not get it to mix. Just a little bowl of oil. Yuck. 5/5 forservice. They were busy and yet Ben was very attentive and fun. The manager dropped by too and others helped clear. Theydefinately have a great team. I would highly recommend this spot. Just don't eat the 'hot wings'. Smoked meet is awesome. Read more
Visit - Saturday August 14, 2021 for beverages and light fare for 3 persons. Friendly, professional and well organised staff. ... Server today was 'Ben' who was attentive to detail, knew the menu well and could make suggestions. Nice seating area inside andlovely patio. A small number of items from the menu as well was one beer on tap was out / not available at time of visit. Items ordered - Cowboy Caviar, Smoked Chicken Wings, Pickle Chips, and Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Food order delivered intimely fashion and was hot. SUGGESTIONS for chicken wing flavours - Dry Cajun was a bit flat - needs more spice and salt. Nashville Hot was disappointing - too much butter and not enough spice. This place has a really nice patio, with great service, our appetizers were all delicious, prices were fair, the only reason we... docked a star was that when the mains came they were all a bit bland and lacklustre. They also didn?t have any brisket as theirsmoker was down that day. We had the hot chicken sandwich which was not hot, we were not expecting it to be very spicy but evena little kick would have been welcome. We also got the pulled pork sandwich which was also bland but the coleslaw made up forit. On the apps side - the fried pickles (might be the best ones we?ve had) and the burnt ends were 5 stars! We had our wedding at North Country, they've been so accommodating and helpful with our wedding. The food was amazing and... everything was better than we could've ever asked for.
