While some may criticize me for being critical of a McDonald's at this level, I still think it is worth mentioning that the... service here has been the absolute worst. Expect to wait about 4-5 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge your presence whenordering in the restaurant. The employees, while seemingly plenty of them "working" were more content gathered laughing andmaking jokes rather than acknowledging customers waiting at the front desk. I waited a full 4 minutes before anyone even lookedat me while at this point there was now 5 people lined up behind me. It seemed each person behind desk went out of their wayto avoid eye contact with customers waiting in line. Even then, the patron who acknowledged the presence of customers took myorder then walked away without taking the order of the person behind me. By this point the ones at the rear of the line beganleaving. After I finally got to place my order and waiting longer than my visits to other McDonald's locations, the foodarrived cold and with insufficient napkins in bag (1 napkin). While I get this is not a Michelin star restaurant, the attentionto basic detail is super lacking and shameful. The entire time I was at the restaurant and even while leaving, there was aconstant and unrelenting group of at least 4-5 workers gathered making jokes and laughing with a couple switching places toattend to orders here and there. Is there no management at this place? Do the managers not care? I only ask because otherMcDonald's locations seem to have figured out basic customer service. More often than not we have to wait for our food here. We also had to have a debate with an employee about whether our Honda... Odyssey was a van or SUV before they would give us our food, since our food was apparently assigned to a black SUV and not avan. Read more
Bought a 10 piece nugget meal. There were 4 nuggets (hidden on bottom) that were way overcooked or left out too long. The fact... they knew there was an issue and tried to hide it makes me not want to return. Read more
We had a stop here for breakfast on our way to Algonquin, the Egg and Jalapeño cheddar McMuffin tasted delicious! The chicken... McGriddle taste a little sweeter, otherwise I liked it. Coffee was fresh and the service was very quick and easy to gowith. Washrooms are also maintained clean. Enough dining area indoor as well as outdoor patio. Read more
Cally is another rare example of a common sense manager that "bends" rigid corporate policies to accommodate customers. She did... just that for me, and I hope this branch's owners see that. I'm guessing that they do and that they encourage the idea of thecustomer having a positive experience that will bring them back, over a "the fine print says this..." kind of attitude! Read more
Slow on the date attended. Only ordered a couple of small items when attended. Priority seems to goto the Skip drivers. Not sure... why this is the case other than they cause issues for staff. I recognize there is a staffing shortage everywhere so don't wantto be too hard on the people working at the establishment because they are over worked and have a lot of pressure put on them bycustomers feeling they are the only person I. Service is good. This is a really busy McDonald?s and the staff are great considering the traffic flow, they keep the line going... :) I?ve never had a problem with the food itself, always cooked and packaged well. However, there?s always something missing orwrong with the order. This is a good location, just check your bag before you leave! Read more
