I have to say that, this is the best Caribbean food around!!! The portion sizes are delightfully generous! The food is freshly... prepared and hand made! Trust me, no matter what your order on the menu you will be very delighted, that the next time you orderit will be quite difficult to decide if you have tried some items already! So sad and disappointed at my meal today. Spent $18 on curry goat roti that was so salty I couldn?t eat it. It wasn?t a curry... either. It was more of a stew because of lack of spice. The roti is just that, a roti. Not the dal puri that I was expecting???? I used to love getting food here in the past but obviously it?s changed or the chef has since I was there last. Going tomake the drive to Mona?s roti in North York from now on. Adding on to this. I tried to give this roti to my daughter and shecouldn?t eat it either. I am way overdue for writing a review for Jj's. I have ordered takeout several times. I normally order the large order of oxtail... stew (meat only) and it is always so fantastic! It is so flavourful and tender, the best oxtail that I have ever eaten inBarrie. Read more
Amazing portions. Chicken was cooked perfect. Tender, not over done. Rice and Slaw were good. Jerk was spicy (hot) and... flavorful. There was just something missing in the jerk seasoning/spices or I?d give it five stars. Read more
First visit to JJ?s and I wasn?t disappointed. The chicken curry roti was tasty and huge, and the jerk chicken was spicy ????and... delicious. The coleslaw and rice and peas were very good. The large is LARGE, so come hungry. I?ll definitely be back to trysome other dishes in the future. Read more
