Just found our new go to Hakka place! We were welcomed by Jonathan with all smiles and great service! This is a family owned... restaurant. They make your food as you order and very fresh! Worth waiting for. We had the Chili Chicken and the Hakka Friedrice. We finished it to the very last grain of it! lol Very decent serving as well. Will go back for sure! Read more

One of best in Barrie. I had chilli chicken with gravy and without gravy, both were awesome. Rice are complimentary with chicken... and quantities are good for one person. Definitely going back there and highly recommended for indo-Chinese food. Read more

Was walking through the Bayfield Mall yesterday and stumbled upon this place. You can smell the delicious aroma from down the... hall! I?ve never had Hakka food before but the young lady at the front helpfully explained to me the flavours of each dish and Iended up going with the chilli chicken dry and a Hakka town noodles. Both were absolutely delicious, it wasn?t just spicy but soflavourful! And it?s so fresh and you can really taste the quality. I?m now a big fan of Hakka food! I finally was able to try the food from Hakka Town. After living in Markham and Toronto before moving to Barrie, I would often... get Hakka Food from so many of the Hakka places in Markham and Scarborough, (Frederick's, Lin Garden, Tangerine, Hakka Cottage,etc). The food at Hakka Town is amazing, I ordered the Chili Chicken (hot) and the Hakka Town Chicken Noodles. The taste isamazing it is easily as good as anything I have had in the city, if not better. I highly recommend Hakka Town, I can not waitto go back and try more items off the menu. If you go in by the Service Ontario entrance it is located to the left up thestairs (or elevator) on the left. We use to eat chilli chicken in Scarborough a lot, then we moved to Barrie and missed it. Also went vegetarian so it was... completely off the table. Then we were told about Hakka Town and WOW. They have vegan chilli chicken that tastes exactly likeour place from Scarborough. The noodles are amazing too. This will be a weekly order for us now! I've heard amazing reviews onall their food.
