I always love firehouse sub. However, tonight I pre ordered so my boyfriend can pick it up on his way home for work. When he got... there they asked if he was Matt, he said ?Yes I am Matt? and the employee handed them the bag. I then got a call when I was athome (I provided my number) and the lady on the phone just says ?yeah he took the wrong order? as if that was his fault. Theynever apologized or even offered to deliver the food since it was not our fault. When he got to the store they blamed him eventhough he repeated the name back and they said yes, for Matt. Are they insane? $23.00 for a sub??? You'd think for that price you'd be served artisnal bread baked fresh in front of you. That... the meat was hand carved and cured by their very own butcher and the veggies were grown in their own garden for the prices theycharge. Is it good? It is very good but when a sandwich and a drink eclipses the cost of many casual dining restaurants;something is wrong. Pure price gouging it's a sub. You're good but ya ain't that good! Read more

Only one word can describe how I feel about Firehouse Subs... OBSESSED. I used to be a big Subway fan, I would go there probably... about once or twice a week. After trying Firehouse Subs even once I realized how subpar Subway is compared to Firehouse. Whenyou first walk into Firehouse your usually always greeted with a nice "Welcome to Firehouse!" The staff are extremely friendlyand welcoming to make any adjustments to any of there large variety of different subs. My favourite by far is the SmokehouseBeef and Cheddar Brisket. The meat is cooked perfectly, the cheese is melted nicely and their amazing bun is like biting into asoft bagel. The only thing that I have to say is I often ask for extra barbecue sauce because I simply cannot get enough of it!I would love for a location to be added to the South End making me want to go there even more! The sub I had here was amazing. I had a medium New York Steamer and it was love at first bite! The cost is a bit pricey, but... definitely worth it. The staff was really friendly and accurare with our orders. We didn't have to wait long for our subs. Wewere given a number and they brought the food right to the table. Food is always delicious when I go here. It doesn?t take too long to make (unless it?s busy) I like how they will deliver the... food to your table (other firehouse sub places I have been to didn?t do this). The staff is friendly. Read more
