I would definitely try this place again to sample more menu items. It is a place that you should try different items to find... what you like. For me, so far, the best items are the pulled pork, sausage and cheeseburger. The not so great but still good items are the ribs (mine were overcooked), canned collards (thought they were going to be fresh hand cut), the loaded potatosalad is good but is goopy, maybe a little less mayo or sour cream. The fries were warm but not crunchy like I like though thatis a personal preference. The owner is really nice and spoke to us about his future plans. I think this place has a lot ofpotential. I ordered a regular Cuban sandwich, my husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich. & just for fun ordered another pulled pork... sandwich and a Philly cheese steak with double the meat, for a family and friend. We both agree ???? ???? ???? ???? to alwaysstop, and say hello to the wonderful people who put so much love into their cooking. It is pure love and joy when you eatanything off their menu. Initial thoughts were that it was pricey for lunch for 3 people. Let me just say, I?ll gladly pay the prices again. We had a... Brisket Philly with onion rings, a Chicken Sandwich with Curley Fry?s, and a Big Mike?s Chicken Philly with okra. All of ourmeals were seasoned to perfection. The portions were on point. Sweet tea was awesome.Service was fantastic. In my opinion, theprices were in line with the quality of what we received. I think our total was around 45$ but let?s be honest, this day in timeyou can drop 30-35$ at the fast food joints for three full meals and I promise they don?t compare to Mama?s! The brisket sandwich was perfect. They allow the meat to shine without compensating with over-saucing. It?s one of the best... bbq sandwiches I?ve ever had in it?s simple goodness. My wife?s country fried steak was average, but the Mac and cheese andpotatoes and gravy were really good. Read more

Huge, tasty meal in an unassuming gem. I wasn't sure what to expect when I pulled up, but being from small town south GA I knew... this could be awesome and it was.
