In town for the obvious reason hitting the bourbon trail ....was recommended this restaurant. It's lovely on the inside and we... had absolutely super music by a single female singer.. Our waitress was outstanding outstanding. Unfortunately the meal wastremendously overcooked and dry. We only waited about 15 minutes for a table and 40 minutes for our dinner To be cooked. Wenoted to the waitress that our food was way over done and The check was compt. Based on the fact that they took responsibilityfor the meal being poorly prepared I would recommend trying it again. The place has an excellent vibe and is a lot of fun to eatthere Read more

We dined here on Thursday night, Aug 4th. Olivia (I think correct) was a very helpful server. We really enjoyed our food - the... Hot Brown, filet mignon with scalloped potatoes and brussel sprouts (best ever brussel sprouts); the housemade rolls andcinnamon bourbon butter was amazing. We aren't bourbon drinkers, but flights are available. The atmosphere was pleasant and weenjoyed the subterranean, historical aspect. We would come again! Read more

They were not kidding- the steak truly is phenomenal and you only need a butter knife to cut it. The filet absolutely melts in... your mouth! The sides were huge and very well done, so much flavor and it was a shame that I didn?t have a big enough appetiteto eat everything. Overall the place has a very charming atmosphere and love the rustic feel. Read more

Great steak in a neat location if you're willing to wait. The Rickhouse is located at the bottom of a neat old building which I... believe is a museum during the day. Your GPS will take you to the building, and it is on the front side of the building (or theleft if you are looking at it from the parking lot near the playground). There is plenty of parking, and it shouldn't be anissue regardless of the time of day. I called ahead and got a reservation the same day, which was easy enough. We went on aTuesday, and the place was somewhat full; I would still go with reservations. Our waitress was great, but everything took solong. The drinks took around 20 minutes. We waited an hour for our food, and the staff did seem pretty stressed out. They havea relatively extensive menu; the drink menu consists of wine and bourbon flights. They did not have a cocktail menu, although Idid hear some of the servers mentioning a couple of them. Once we got the food, it was pretty good. I had the sirloin, whichwas cooked correctly, and the salmon was pretty good. Neither will blow your socks off, but it is pretty good! The 11 cheese macand cheese was cooked well with a crispy top (I didn't even know they had 11 cheese mac and cheese). We also had the Brusselsprouts, which were again pretty good. The Rickhouse is fairly expensive, two drinks, steak, and salmon cost around$80. Overall, the food was pretty good, the building is relatively neat, and it is not a bad spot if you're willing to wait. Read more
